The customer service was outstanding, transparent and reassuring when responding to any questions that I had. The rate is reasonable, with a 5% discount for setting up autopay. It was very convenient to reserve a unit and whenever I called with questions, the information was always clear and easy to understand.

Everything was super easy to access and clean, highly recommended to anyone with needs for storage. **This is the worst I've been treated...I didn't realize I had only a certain amount of time during the day (go there when I get off work cause it's more convenient being closer to where I'm staying) that I could be there in my own unit, and only certain amount of days during the week I could be at my unit, apparently there's a limit to how long and how many days you can access your unit before being told that you're on their 'radar'. My transportation is a bicycle at the moment and I live half way through town so getting my personal belongings takes a little longer, but now Everytime I go there I get watched and profiled like Im doing something wrong. Has definitely made me feel very uncomfortable and honestly I don't recommend this place to anyone that plans to go to their storage more than two or three times outta the week. Plus if you're 2 minutes past the gate closing time (7) even though they have a clicker on the outside of the office for ' late movers' to open the gate themselves, it's deemed as "pushing it" if it happens too many times.. (not even a hand full of times) When I can let myself out. Gives you that good ol 'slap in the face' treatment. Gives a crappy attitude and the not worthy of saying have a good night back to you, you can kiss it!!!! Discussed with this treatment and will be relocating asap. Thanks for making this a horrible customer service experience I've ever been apart of. Grade F - no stars - for this company/employee/employee that lives on site.

Excellent customer service. Perfect for all your storage needs. I would strongly recommend them, and they have supplies! UPDATE: The staff was kind. Although my driver's license was forgotten in the printer, the truck rental key returns were not explained thoroughly. Therefore, take extreme caution, as your deposit will not be returned in a timely manner. Furthermore, getting trapped behind the gates at 7 p.m. with zero assistance for emergencies from on-site staff and property management was nonexistent. Resident staff never answered the phone. Property management did not help and said they wouldn't. Hopefully, Atascadero's finest did help. Thank you so much.

Fair unit costs compared to many in the area (SLO), and getting started was very easy and had some options that can be helpful. Also, the gate access is convenient and their timeframes are broad, just don't cut it too close and get locked in. I'm not as excited about the payments - ease of use yes, but odd display of charges. This shows up as $0 due just before payment due-date, so you have to select Prepay to be able to 'post' a payment for the upcoming month. This is further complicated by not showing that payment on the default display, so you have to go to history or transactions to actually 'see' your entry was made - and now I'm wondering is this for the coming month or current one.

This place was awesome. It gave me great prices. I recommend it to everyone.

I recently visited SLO City Storage because I needed some storage space quickly. I'd just lost my apartment so I went in to their office and asked for a 5'x5'. Luckily they had some available and the rental process was quick and easy. Robert (Bob) at the front desk walked me through all the paperwork and answered all my questions. Keegan, another employee in the office, showed me to my storage unit, and it was as simple as that. I signed a few papers and I was set. These guys were very friendly and very helpful. I'm glad I chose SLO City Storage and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a storage space.

I’m in the process of moving and have a Penske truck reserved through MiniUstorage managed by a wonderful couple, Steve and Christine. Their knowledge, professionalism and friendliness are unmatched. My truck reservation wasn’t for a few days, but they offered me the rental moving blankets days ahead to help make the move easier. When I mentioned I was having a difficult time finding an appropriate size mattress bag, they allows me to take one, at no charge, to see if it would fit! I will be using MiniUstorage in Atascadero for all future truck rental or storage needs I have. Great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an owner operated facility so if you still value working with people that know the concept of a handshake and customer service, you'll find no better place. They went above and beyond for me when I had to find a unit on short notice and even offered ways to reduce the price with discounts (a rarity these days). When I misplaced my keys only days later they helped get a new lock on my unit quickly. If you have any debate on choosing who to go with, look no further. I just hope they keep it up.

Truly friendly staff. Only rented the storage unit for 2 months and best service I ever had from any storage unit.

I think I have been here about 10 years or maybe 8:00 but the staff is wonderful the facility is clean you need help they help you I love this place my family passed tragically and they had my back they have become a storage family to me this is a great place to be I recommended 100%

I’ve rented here a few times as an out of state student attending Cal Poly and have always had the best experiences! The staff is super kind and walks you through everything, and they have everything you need to rent. Was a really easy process; definitely recommend this place!

Went in on 2/6/22 & dealt with Gerrilyn and what great customer service I received from her. She drove me to the unit to see it before she did the paperwork and it was a good size. Once back in the office she had me in and out in no time. I will recomend this place to anyone who asks me if I know where they can rent a storage unit. A+ all the way around.

What a great experience! The property and the units themselves are clean and feels very secure. In my stressful time the Ryans helped me out choosing the right unit while making me feel at home. Knowing they are on site I have no worries about my safety as I have in the past.They are Awesome and I highly recommend it especially with the move in and Uhaul specials.

Great customer service and quick and painless rental process. I was short a few bucks cash and the manager helped me out. It seems like a decent place and centrally located.

The front desk man, Brian was a pleasure to work with!! The facility looks very well maintained. And the hours of access are great 6-9pm daily.

I wish I could give them more stars! Such a great experience. We were moving and I had rented a truck from U-Haul. The day before our move, U-Haul called and said they didn’t have a truck available in Atown (I could have picked one up in SLO...ummm...No thank you) I had no idea what I was going to do. Found these guys on Google. Not only did they have a truck (the perfect size too) they were extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. Christine and Steve were GREAT!!! I highly recommend them and would work with them again. Now... off to give U-haul a 1 star negative review...

The managers were the best in customer service. They really care that my move in could go as smooth as possible. I know my belongings are safe here. They live on site and actively check out the grounds during open hours. Will stay here as long as I need somewhere to store my stuff.

Non-gated storage units

Most pleasant experience I've had this year. The young lady took care of me and processed my paperwork in no time. I had lock and key easy as pie. Will recommend to all needing extra space. Win - Win!

I was able to reserve my unit online and when I got there less than one hour after they had it in there system and it was a quick and easy process to get the paperwork done, walk me to the unit and that was it. Very helpful and nice woman in the office. ALSO, you get first TWO months free right now, we walked out of there paying just 34$ for a 5✖️8 (ish) unit. And it’s paid in full through March. GREAT DEAL, and great service 👍🏻

Management is so kind. After moving to Atascadero we needed a safe and convenient location. Was so fast and easy. Highly recommend them. And if you need moving supplies they have it all.

This is the best storage unit place in san luis obispo country..

I used to have three, but now have two large storage units. The team has been very helpful for me as I moved to the area. They are clean units, and the staff open their office on time, the the gates are open 7am - 7pm daily, and there is an after hours exit button. I also got two huge racks for free put in one of my units. Steve is a hardworking, kind guy and Rita has been very helpful too. Another woman whose name I never learned has been in the office all of the times I've been there to buy new units.

This is a great storage facility. The office managers are very pleasant and helpful. Ive always been greated with a smile. The grounds are obviously well maintained and units are kept clean prior to moving in.

This place is great the Managers whom are married are so nice friendly and helpful. I just moved in to my unit on the hottest day and during a drive around check of the units the Manager stopped and have me a water. The place is clean well kept and the Managers live on site so your stuff is safe. So if you need a storage unit and need one not too expensive this is the place.

Chris Carillo and myself have a storage with U-Storage and its been a great experience. Their storage hours are convenient and the staff are prompt in attending to customers. They even come around every so often distributing bottles of water to customers. Super friendly environment.

The onsite office staff, Pat and Bridgette, are always so friendly doing their job with a smile. Excellent customer service, knowledgable staff, and clean facility. They drive around in a golf cart to check on you to make sure everythings ok and you're not in need of assistance and they'll bring you a bottle of water which helps on a hot day. I definitely recommend Atascadero Mini U Storage.

Whoa! Epic place! The person running the joint that day took us on a ride! On the golf cart we went, speeding down the rows at a whopping 20 miles per hour! Not kidding! She said that it could go 20 miles per hour. Whew, that was fun. Not only that, but it was easy to get! The staff is also very kind. Maybe if you get the same lady you'll race down the rows too! Ask, you might be able to. Affordable price!

I walked in off the street, filled out my paperwork and drove off with a free rental truck for 24 hours. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the prices are some of the lowest I could find. I highly recommend them!
