Hello I have rented a storage unit from MINI U STORAGE in the past and they are very nice and very respectful people’s they let you know to go on a certain website and they will match their prices. Very awesome.

Isaac was respectful, kind, and very helpful in identifying the storage units that would work best for me and my husband. He also completed the paperwork in an efficient manner. It was a pleasure working with him!

Isaac and Thomas helped me move in. I reserved through spare foot and was in and out of the office.

This place is excellent, the customer service between these two is amazing. Was quick, and they helped me with any discounts and deals available. It's ashame they can't run every business I deal with!! We need more managers like this!!!!! Highly recommend!!! We booked a storage unit online and went in to finish the lease. The property managers were super friendly and helpful, which made the whole process easy. The unit a 5x8 was exactly what we expected and in a great spot for what we needed. Melissa and Chris were awesome, answering all our questions and helping out with any concerns right away. Reserved a space online and went today to actually lease it. The property managers were extremely helpful and friendly. The storage space itself (a 10 x 20 unit) was as promised and in a very good location for my needs. This actually is the second space I have at this location (I am in the process of consolidating several units in different locations) and the service I have received here has been top notch!

I've been with Mini U Storage of Herndon since March 2000. Yes, you read that right. They opened in late 1999. I feel like the OG of tenants. This should speak volumes along with the other positive reviews. I have seen management come and go with Melissa and Chris presently at the helm and hopefully for a long time. They're very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend visiting this facility and decide for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

My experience was great after just coming from U haul with horrible customer service and nothing available my husband called Mini storage and he has use them in the past so we headed over there with them about to close in 5 mins Melissa took care of me I didn’t feel rush. She was so sweet polite and I felt welcomed. Chris and Melissa have great customer service and the deals are amazing !!! Regarding Mini-U Storage in Herndon, VA. I have multiple units at this facility. Melissa & Chris are excellent managers. They make the experience of getting a storage unit there easy. They also stock multiple moving items in the store, boxes, wrapping paper, tape and more. Other than wishing their corporate office would not keep raising the rates, this is an excellent, secure place to store your items.

Had a billing issue that could have been a big problem, but Melissa in their office handled it promptly, professionally and with kindness. It's so rare today to get terrific customer service, that I had to give Melissa (who I've never met except this one time over the phone) a shout out. Thank you!

Called The Mini u Storage in Herndon and spoke with Melissa the manager .She went above and beyond by taking my payment over the phone so that I wouldn’t be late paying my storage unit on time .She made me feel safe and comfortable with taking my payment over the phone.

The service at this location is outstanding. I was able to book a storage unit online then I showed up in person to sign the paperwork which took less than 10 min. They have showed me the unit and made sure that it will fit all my stuff before signing anything. The staff is very pleasant and professional. They run promotions all the time and their prices are unbeatable in comparison to other storage facilities near by. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a storage unit. I have used storage lockers for a couple of decades I have stayed there for years because they have been the best I have ever worked with and the current management has been the best. I have used this storage facility twice. The office staff are amazing. They are so helpful, super friendly, and help make moving easy. I love the ability to borrow the truck for free when moving in. I have used 2 different sizes at different times. Before moving in they cleaned it out which was nice. I live close by and even store my classic car.

I've have 2 storage units with Mini U Storage - Herndon since 2013. The rates is way less than other storage places & the customer service is awesome. I had to switch units & the dynamic duo Kia & Jesse at the front office is fantastic - totally awesomesauce. Can't get better customer service then them. Friendly, efficient, & very kind/sweet. A heads-up. It's way cheaper to rent a unit in the winter time vs summer time months. I believe per contract there's a price hike twice a year - forgot but I think it was $20 more a month. If you want the rental unit price before the price hike you have to switch/rent a new unit same size, smaller, or bigger. However, the painful annoying part is moving all your belongings to the new unit. And there's a small switch fee. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Mini U Storage.

Manager Jessy made everything possible to meet my needs: 24 hrs access, security and easy access for straight box trucks. Her professionalism and customer care alongside with her eagerness to help and provide various solutions to any customers' queries are beyond 5-star! I love the staff here. They're very friendly and know what they are doing. The rates are fair and the units are good. I didn't need my unit any longer and the staff swept up behind me emptying it to ensure it was clean for the next customer.

They were AWESOME! Customer service is so great, and they gave me all the details I needed. First month is free, which is amazing and they gave me shelves in my unit for FREE! My indoor unit was the same price as my outdoor unit. They even asked if I wanted a bottle of water or a mint, which I loved because customer service is huge to me. I watched as the manager trained the two newer employees, which is great because she was extremely thorough so they would know what to do next time. Moving van usage is free for new customers as well. I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely love this place! Strange to say about a storage facility, I know. But the managing team there is so amazing and accommodating! I made use of their free truck rental for move-in, which was a life-saver. There is a bathroom (clean & well maintained) for customer use during business hours, loaner shelves, and even chilled water!! They're even great with my hyper-active 6 year old! Every thing was great

I always noticed both of these wonderful ladies outside cleaning, so I decided to come in for boxes. Let me tell you how awesome the Mini U storage is: 1. I was greeted as soon as I walked inside and offered discounts on the boxes that I needed to buy. 2. I then inquired about the prices on some of the units they had available and not only did they just tell me about them, Jessy took me on their golf cart to take a look! 3. We came back to the office and Kia finished ringing me up for my boxes and then Jessy even offered me a free move in! Before I left, I remembered that I needed tape to close my boxes up and they gave it to me for FREE! Said it was for just stopping by! Honestly, it’s hard to get service like this nowadays but Jessy and Kia did all of this while maintaining a smile! Thank you, Mini U Storage! You will be hearing from me again very soon!

I have to say Jessie saved my business at this location. The past management was awful and had personality conflict issues with most of customers. Jessie has been awesome to work with and extremely friendly and polite. The grounds are always clean and well kept. The bathrooms are extremely clean and always well stocked with paper and hand towels. I would highly recommend this place for long term storage as for myself or short term. Jessie's staff has been just as friendly and accommodating to my needs or questions. Great service is greatly appreciated!

I've been storing my very important belongings here for several years and must say I am very pleased with the staff and facility. I recently was faced with a family emergency which I am currently attending to in the western NY area. Short on cash I stopped by the site and asked to delay this months payment beyond the 10 days grace. I was pleased with the customer focus and caring concern expressed by Jessie and Kia and their willingness to help me. They are appreciated.

Jess and Kia provided me with great information. I explained that I was new to this and just in the exploration stage. Jess listened to my needs and showed me several options while working to meet my desired financial point. At the end, I felt it was a win-win and felt she listened and responded to my needs. Excellent first experience. I would give 5 stars; but the process is not yet complete - so I will go with the 4 stars for now.

I have been a customer of this storage company for many years. The new management under Jessie is more highly professional , courteous and efficient in all that they do. They have the customer at heart and always ready to help beyond closing hours . The facility is more organized and clean . Thank you for all that you do Jessie and team .

All the staff at this location have always provided excellent customer assistance from the first day of renting a unit to calling to reserve/rent the truck and changing from a larger to a smaller unit. Wonderful people that always work with you.

What a find! Not only was the price right--so was absolutely everything else, from the first phone call all the way through to locking the door on the immaculate storage "garage." Staff could not have been more helpful, more friendly, more explicit about procedures. AND they recommended movers (Mega Men) who arrived on time (2 minutes early, even!), got to work immediately, wasted no time at all, and, amazingly, seemed to enjoy what they were doing! Overall, no exceptions, the experience was a delight.

Had an awesome experience with Jessy and Kia, they helped me through the difficult ordeal of moving. The customer service was awesome and they really took their time to make sure I knew of the policies and which storage unit to get. Highly recommend that you come here for your storage needs. I have been to a lot of places for storage and the Mini U storage in Chantilly tops the cake in my eyes.

I reserved the unit late Saturday night online, and arrived the next day 2 minutes before they closed at 3. Ms.Kia at the front desk was SO patient, pleasent, and kind to me the entire time I was here!! She stayed to help me get my storage today, walked me to the unit to view before signing for it and gave me all the information I needed! She answered ALL of my questions and was very friendly. I apologized for coming so late and keeping her past her time, and in return she apologized for me having to leave work during my lunch break to come to the storage!! You do not get this kind of service everywhere!! This meant alot to me and i really appreciate EVERYTHING she offered me and all of the useful information!!! Thank You Ms.Kia!! Also, I rented a storage space inside and it is very clean, the climate is controlled, and I feel as though my stuff will be safe and the property is very well taken care of!!!

I arrived a few minutes before the office closure time on a Sunday and they still took the time to process my application, show the unit and finalize everything, awesome customer service (shoutout to Shakia!), clean facility and great prices. I think that all of the units are on the ground level (you can park your car just next to your unit and no need for an elevator)

I am a first time reviewer of anything. I am writing this time because I could not be more pleased with the service I have received from Jessie and team at Mini U Storage. We recently rented a unit at this facility and were very pleased with everything about the experience. The unit itself is solidly constructed, not just drywall like some of the competitors. The unit felt very secure. We also have rented a truck twice. Jessie has been very friendly, warm and accommodating every time we have worked with her. I highly recommend using this company!

I have used Mini U for a few years. Staff has always been great. Recently my door jammed and Jesse was able to get the door fixed same day. She blocked the opening with a van, and after the door was fixed, put a lock on it. Her responsiveness was just outstanding. The locker is weather tight, and easily accessed. There is a ton of room in mine. I checked rates in other locations and they were the best of any local storage facility. It's also next to a large CIA complex with thousands of CIA employees and contractors, so there's a lot of security in the area. They don't patrol Mini U, but they do patrol the roads around it. It's about as safe an area as you are going to find. Highly recommended.

This is a fabulous storage place. Very Clean and the managers they have there are extremely helpful. They monitor security and I have no concerns about what I keep there. I have used various storage companies over the years in the area and they are the best!

Jessie was phenomenal. She was extremely accurate and well-informed about every aspect of the rental, the logistics of using their truck (provided free of charge, along with the free hand truck), the entry and egress process and hours of access, and even how the facility drainage system protects the units in the event of heavy downpours. I made this rental a few days prior to Hurricane Florence, when predictions were that it would hit northern Virginia. Jessie wisely recommended that I choose an inside unit. She was a consummate professional, calling the following day to check on how I was doing in getting my belongings onto the truck and over to my unit at the storage facility. It was rainy and muddy and slippery and difficult to negotiate moving boxes and furniture that day, so she proactively extended my truck rental time without charge. Thanks for everything Jessie. I feel great about discovering Mini U Storage.

Jessy and her daughter were AMAZING!!! Top customer service, above and beyond. they both explain prices very well and all the sizes of the units that they had available that could work for all my needs. Took time to drive me to each unit in their golf cart so I can physically see them. they gave me cold water without even asking for it. thank God because it was 98 degrees outside that day. Like I said very AMAZING customer service. I will recommend them to everyone that’s need a storage unit. The icy on the cake is that they also have a truck if you need one.

She was very helpful in setting up my storage units, arranging the truck rental, and explaining the Mini-U policy. Overall experience was very pleasant and efficient. Rick and Joan in the office are professional and very accommodating. Convenient to be able to rent a moving truck with only minimum cost for insurance. Overall, would recommend for short or long-term storage.

Tremendous Experience! Rick and Joan were super friendly and helpful. We initially rented a 5x10 unit, and once we loaded the truck, realized it wouldn't fit in a 5x10. They got us into a great 10x10 instead, with not even a blink! Great facility, great units, and great staff! I will recommend this place to all of my friends! 🙂
