I visited the Columbia location and Kim was the best, she helped with all my concerns and on top of that, the cleanliness was amazing. The bathroom smelt good, and the lobby was spotless!

The facility is secured and cleaned however the staff member is usually smoking heavily and one day I entered the office, I wasn’t able to tolerate the smell. She is also zero percent friendly

So glad we chose Mini U Storage for a unit and their moving truck services. Jessi at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind and so was the other associate. Having quality Penske trucks available for same day renting made our move quick and easy with extremely reasonable rates. Highly recommend this location for all your moving and storage needs. Again it's Ms Manago, I will keep recommending people to Mini U Storage in Columbia to family, friends and anyone I know. So far it's the best place I have ever stored my stuff. My cousin also has his stuff there close to 4 years now and he is very satisfied. I have used 4 different storage facilities and my experience with them were horrible. With one storage facility, the electronic gates to the building was broken for several months 4 to 5 months and anyone could walk in there and it's happened so many times and not once. The hallways were all dirty and bathrooms dirty. Their rents were very expensive too. Also the other storages I rented from were invested with mice and rats and did not keep their facilities clean. Mini U storage offer their new clients free move in trucks and you only have to provide your own insurance, put gas back into the truck after you use it, and they hold a $50 deposit that is refunded to you as you return their truck. I think that is a better deal than renting a truck. Pls. tell me, which storages would provide all those good deals?? On top of that the units are being advertised below market rate with some percentage off too. It is just like anything else, prices go up every year. I'd rather pay more for my belongings to be safe than putting my stuff at a place that is dirty and invested with rodents with poor security. Mini U Storage deserve all the credit.

We have used this Mini U previously and the operators are nice. They did not earn 5 stars, however, due to time wasters and processing waste. We chose to do everything online, including the lease and ID upload, but the associate still asked to scan my license which was totally redundant, and had me sign paperwork that was already signed by my e-sig. He was nice about it, but the redundancy and waste is annoying. They lose points for lacking smart processing. There were operational issues with the gate, but the same associate solved that in no time flat. The other issue is that the storage unit was not clean - it had not been swept and there were cobwebs and dead insects and detritus. For the price, it's a good value - but bring ground cover for your valuables and don't expect them not to kill trees or have digital age enabled efficiences.

They were very nice and professional. They were eager to help in any manner. They take really good care and maintenance of the grounds, its very well kept and very clean. Each single unit is excellent, in very good condition. The ambience of the place is very peaceful and serene, you feel safe being there in that environment. The pricing is very reasonable and excellent. Zack is top notch! He was super helpful, professional and very courteous. I recommend this place if you need a good storage facility.

I had a issue the night before with my brand new storage unit. But the next morning when I awoke bryce took care of me and made sure I had no issues! Great customer service once I got to speak to him.

... update Nov. 2019 ... the gates were broken for at least 2 weeks, went out of town so I hope they've been fixed by now. Seeing them in the open position did not please us at all. Easy access. Units were good, from the looks there should never be a water issue due to grading. Free shelves were beat up, but sort of expected that.

Place was great. It was great that you can drive right up to unit to store stuff which makes it a little more expensive but so worth the cost. Place was secure. Unit was clean and dry. Staff nice and helpful.

Quick, courteous, professional service with a friendly couple: Zach and Jessie. I believe that my car will be safe in their care. I appreciated how we were able to get done what needed to happen in a respectable time frame.

Incredible service. I had to switch a reservation last minute and arrange a (free!) truck rental all in 24 hours. The staff was super helpful- both on the phone and in-person.

The staff was very helpful, going far beyond protocol to insure myself and my wife wanted for nothing. They were courteous, kind, and I have never experienced that type of service in a storage facility. Just simple AWESOME!
