Mini U Storage is perfect for my family’s needs when they needed a solution to store their belongings. They are fairly priced, very clean, climate controlled, and the manager James is very professional/attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something similar & will continue to use them in the future.

The people that work at this facility they're all five star people. They're really good people. They're just not in there to do their job. They're in there to make people happy clean storage units, easy accessible, and never ever once. Had a problem once I moved to a different town that's the only reason I got myself as storage But if I ever need another storage unit again, it will be to them. That's for sure. I've had such an incredibly positive experience with Mini U Storage in Melbourne over the past 11 months, and I can't recommend them highly enough. My 10x10 indoor unit was exactly what I needed, and at the time, it cost me around $120 a month (after pro-ration from two months free). The service truly sets them apart at the time. The employee I worked with was exceptionally resourceful and went above and beyond to ensure I got the absolute best deal available, even taught me some “hacks” to benefit from company policies. They were instrumental in helping me take full advantage of their two months free promotion, which they offer every summer. One of the most impressive benefits Mini U Storage provides, and something truly unique compared to most other storage facilities, is the option to rate-lock your price for an entire year by calling their corporate office. This provided invaluable peace of mind, knowing my rate wouldn't unexpectedly increase. Their moving truck rental service was another huge plus. For a $29 flat rate, $19 for insurance cost is gas, mileage is free for 50 miles, or even potentially feee for moving in (they wave the $29) it was incredibly convenient and saved me a lot of hassle with uhauls during my move-in. Overall, my 11 months with Mini U Storage in Melbourne have been an absolute pleasure. The combination of excellent pricing, valuable promotions, and truly helpful staff made it a genuinely stress-free and positive experience. Con: The units are a bit older, the AC units probably stay about 77-80 during the summer. The truck was a bit old but only had 47k miles on it.. the indoor units always smelled like bug poison/pest prevention… but that isn’t necessarily bad thing because I never saw a bug in my unit.. bittersweet

James, the manager, made the whole setup process for my rental unit quite easy and comfrotable. He's a very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Explained everything clearly, and answered every question I had. I rented a 20x10 unit for 4.5 months and then a 10x10 for another 4.5 as I was able to downsize. Move out was also very easy. I definitely recommend this company!

It was time for me to get a storage unit to hold items I want to take when we leave Florida but that I need out of the house as I get the house ready to sell next year. I searched locations near me, and MiniU was the most convenient, which I already knew as I have driven past it nearly every day for 17 years. I figured that if MiniU did not offer great service, they would not still be in business. So I started with a visit there today and I now know why they are still in business after all these years. Great people with great customer service! They listened to my needs and answered all my questions. I was given a tour of an available 10x10 interior unit. The unit was a perfect match for my needs - perfect interior location and immaculate. The whole facility is safe, secure, clean, well maintained, with an excellent staff. Very competitively priced, too. I saw lots of deals on the websites of other locations, but I knew those were temporary. I just wanted a fair monthly price for a clean, climate controlled unit in a storage facility where I felt safe to come by myself. MiniU offered all that, plus a special deal, and I only have to drive about 10 minutes down 192 to get there. Highly recommend!

This is my second time renting a storage unit at the 192 location in Melbourne. The staff is friendly and the storage units are very clean. It’s a safe great place to store your belongings. I highly recommend them.

I have used this storage place several times over several years. The staff is the best... They are always accommodating and very friendly. I feel safe at night inside the gates and my storage units have never flooded like other places in town. My belongings are safe here I have never had a problem whereas other storage places closer to me have had rats, snakes and mold. I will always come back here.

Mike (so sorry if that is not your name, I am SO bad with names!) at the service desk was super patient with me even though my freaking dog was out in the car destroying my stuff lol! Luckily I caught him before he got my Dooney & Burke in his mouth!!! I'm only laughing out of anxiety he is a headache sometimes.. He helped me get all the paperwork done and then he took me to the unit to show me how the lock worked (very helpful since I have never seen that style of lock before). Super awesome service! Also if it's super hot out, you can go to the fridge during business hours and grab some FREE cold water! This place rocks and it's super affordable if you're in transition or need to get back on your feet. Definitely recommending this to EVERYONE ☺️

Clean facility, offers under air, allows you to use there truck for no large cost just a little fee & deposit. Friendly employees, it's gated. It maybe pricey however you get what u pay for. Last yr I lost so many of my things because I went cheaper and they had a hole in their roof. If only I have known that that cat I saw was really a huge rat who ate all kinds of my belongings. (They didn't replace my stuff) so a peace of mind and some extra cash spent is well worth it. You will love it. Tell them CathyJK sent ya

Checked out on the last day but was still charged for an additional month for an empty unit after over 6 months of business. Would not do anything to help. Will not recommend or use again. Edit: Was eventually reimbursed a couple months later for the additional month via check in the mail. Good on them for fixing the issue.

The service and helpfulness of the employee of Mini U Storage was excellent and handled as quickly as I believe it could be considering all the paperwork and moving around to show and explain everything about their rental storage facility. I appreciate her knowledge and experience at that facility in helping me acquire my storage locker in a timely and pleasant way. I would recommend the facility to others. My only complaint was that the advertised price did not include the insurance which is mandatory unless your stowage already has rental coverage through your insurance company of choice.

We are Storing a travel trailer. When we showed up Shannon was there to greet us with a very friendly Disposition. Shannon was very thorough throughout the whole rental process. She took her time to show us what parking spots were available and let us choose which one we wanted. She took care of the contract and check in process thoroughly and with ease explaining everything as she went along . The staff are very friendly and walk you through the whole process. I was done in np time at all with everything explained. The hours for me to get into my unit work just perfect. I'm not having to wait for office staff to open ro get to my unit (some do). Not pnly that but they are not that far from where I stay and are an easy in and drop off when done with work. If you are in need of a storage unit do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Used the truck for free but you have to purchase "insurance" which would lower your insurance deductible to 250 and proof of your insurance is needed and would be used in case of any accident. That i didnt understand but i cant really complain to use a moving teuck for 19. Isnt bad. Service makes up for the little costs added on.

I had a fantastic experience here. They were very professional, organized, and easy to work with. They took me to see the unit and approve before signing papers, the unit was very clean, and staff very helpful and thorough. Even the roll gate on the unit operated smoothly making it easy to access (I had an indoor climate controlled unit). Only con is the teeny tiny parking lot, but it works so still 5 stars.

For once everything was exactly as was quoted on the phone. Joseph was very helpful and took the time to take us around to view the different sized storage facilities to help us choose the right one, even though we arrived 15 mins from closing time. Very professional and courteous.

I have been using this facility since Dec. 2016 and I can say the staff is so easy to work with. I have found it necessary to change unit sizes on three occasions and the staff put forth every possible effort to meet my requirements. Prices are some of least expensive in the local market.
