They increase my rent after 3/4 months and at the same time they advertise lower rent on the web site. After dealing with unprofessional people and management I decided to move back to MINI Storage, Matt and rest of the staff members are wonderful. They explained me all the necessary details about my rental agreement. Explained me about the discounts available let me choose the unit. Definitely Mini Storage on Clara Barton is no brainer storage to use.

Great storage space with really amazing staff. I am storing my things there for about a year and they are incredibly helpful, nice, professional. I accidentally left my keys there, and was in a major panic, and they had them there as soon as I got back. I just can't say enough nice things about them. Update July 2025 As I've mentioned before, there's a lot of very nice things about this storage unit. Last year I wanted to convert to a smaller locker to save some money. I found out how great my rate was and decided to pay for a year in advance. That year ends in August. I decided to see if I could pay for 5 more months and that would be it. Then I found out my new rate. I went from somewhere around $57 a month to $119 a month. Corporate had decided that everyone had to pay " market rate." I refuse to be gouged. I will go repeat this was the best deal I'd ever had, this a wonderful storage facility. The facilities are clean. The staff is excellent. Corporate is greedy. My storage locker is now empty. They lost out on a guaranteed $300 because they wanted some number that they hadn't earned.

This facility has to be the best in the area - convenient location for all of Fairfax county, always clean and in good repair, long hours including Sunday, and best of all is the staff that is always friendly and efficient. The small shop in the office has all the supplies needed for a move in case you need more boxes, a lock, tape, etc. They even have a van available for customer use.

They directed me to corporate HQ for a few extra details I was curious about and I had definitive answers from live humans on the phone within 6 minutes (no annoying 'robots', digital menus, or endless 'please hold' muzak! I rented a storage unit (5 wide, 10 long, 11 feet tall) and it was free for the first month then after that it was a little over 40 bucks monthly which I thought was a great deal! No contract! It also came with a free moving truck for 24-hr rental, only had to pay $19 for a liability fee and refill gas. With the truck you also get a free lock for the storage unit. Only thing I wish was different was that the rooms are outside so I wasn't able to store my electronics/appliances there because the extreme cold or hot temperatures can damage these items. It would've been better if the storage was inside a building with air-conditioning/heater and ventilation. Also, the room is very spacious but it doesn't come with any lighting so when I go there at night, it's completely dark and I need to use a flashlight. Other than those 2 things, I was extremely satisfied with Mini U Storage. Their customer service was excellent and the prices are unbeatable! Highly recommend you check them out!

Recently, I had a need for a storage facility. After checking out several places, I decided to go with Mini U Storage in Clara Barton Drive, Fairfax Station, VA. The two men serving me complemented each other perfectly and worked together like a well-oiled machine. It was a hot day and, when I was about to leave, I was even offered a bottle of cold water! I consider customer service for a storage unit rental to he above average. The staff here were friendly. The free truck rental for moving in was a nice perk. I wasn't giving trouble for using my own home insurance as coverage either. Many of these companies seem to want to insist in using their insurance. The outdoor storage unit I was provided was clean and easily accessible. Yes, I would recommend this place.

The staff at Mini U storage of Fairfax are nothing short of amazing. They all go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taking care of. Renting a storage unit can be a long an frustrating process, as there are so many options and the paperwork can be confusing, but at Mini U storage the process is seamless, and most of the time there are two people there to assist, and make things go faster. They really are a one stop shop, as they offer the free truck rental upon move in, as well as boxes, tape, locks, and many other moving necessities. If you are looking for a storage facility look no further Mini U storage is the place to be. I started renting here a year ago, and recently recommended them to my sister and all dealings with them have been great. Matt and Jacob got us in and out and were thorough and efficient; and Henry along with the other manager, offered us bottled water as it was extremely hot, when we went to return the truck. Hands down, the facility is in a good location, very clean and well kept, and has excellent customer service from beginning to end. They almost always have promotions going on, and also offer a $25 referral program. Upon helping my sister move her things in Henry was amazing. As he continued to check on us and make sure we were okay. If there was something that he thought we could use he would offer it, making our lives so much easier as we were two young women moving in all these items by our self. While they were really busy during both of our visits, the staff were friendly and efficient. If you have a big truck, then it's best to stop in their driveway and ask where they want it as their parking lot was packed pretty tight.
