CLIMATE-CONTROLLED & DRIVE-UP STORAGE IN FAIRFAX STATION

Was very happy with the service provided. Kirsten and Anas were very pleasant and professional

Kirsten and Ana’s were extremely professional and curious. Is really hard to find kind and professional customer service now in days, Kirsten and Ana’s went above and beyond expectations. Thank you

Very polite, good prices, and they stayed after hours to finish help us set up our unit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with Mini U Storage from start to finish. Anas personally escorted me to the unit before I signed the lease so that I could see it for myself and make sure it would suit my needs. I really appreciated that extra level of care and attention rather than feeling rushed into making a decision. Kirsten was also incredibly helpful. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very open and honest about all of the policies, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer my questions. I felt like I knew exactly what I was signing up for, with no surprises. Both Anas and Kirsten made the whole experience easy, welcoming, and professional. Excellent customer service all around, and I would absolutely recommend Mini U Storage!

Kirsten & Anas are so very professional and kind and helpful. I give them 10 plus

He was a pleasure work with! Great job Jean!!!

Best Prices in the area, nice and clean storage unit. ANAS WAS MOST WONDERFUL AGENT I MEET. ANAS AND KIRSTEN MADE MY DAY QUICK PROFESSIONAL AND WITH A SMILE. Make a note of it 10930 Clara Barton MINI U STORAGE is the right choice for the storage unit. I moved to Lorton, so I got Storge unit near Lorton that was my biggest mistake. They increase my rent after 3/4 months and at the same time they advertise lower rent on the web site. After dealing with unprofessional people and management I decided to move back to MINI Storage, Matt and rest of the staff members are wonderful. They explained me all the necessary details about my rental agreement. Explained me about the discounts available let me choose the unit. Definitely Mini Storage on Clara Barton is no brainer storage to use.

Good location and managers. Discounts.

Just rented a unit here and it went so smoothly! Reasonable, clear pricing and the customer service is OUTSTANDING- especially Kristan and Anas who answered all of my (many) questions and went out of their way to make sure I knew about all the options available. So glad I found this place. I highly recommend!!!!

Super helpful staff addressed my needs immediately. Safe, solid storage. I am pleased with the price and value. Thanks for your help.

Such a hidden gem. Kirsten was super helpful in helping me reserve my second unit at the property. She helped me save on both my existing unit and the new one I reserved while also getting me access to their truck for free on the same day. I've been with them for over a year now and don't have any complaints regarding security or property maintenance, so I would highly recommend this place if you need to rent a storage unit.

Michael provided great customer service. They are very helpful here!

Easy rental process! Clean facility! Michael went over everything in detail and answered all questions.

I've been using this storage center for 12 years now. It is one of the best storage centers in the area. Everyone is very helpful with getting everything set up. I will always recommend this place

Great customer service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean unit and a good price.

Great storage space with really amazing staff. I am storing my things there for about a year and they are incredibly helpful, nice, professional. I accidentally left my keys there, and was in a major panic, and they had them there as soon as I got back. I just can't say enough nice things about them. Update July 2025 As I've mentioned before, there's a lot of very nice things about this storage unit. Last year I wanted to convert to a smaller locker to save some money. I found out how great my rate was and decided to pay for a year in advance. That year ends in August. I decided to see if I could pay for 5 more months and that would be it. Then I found out my new rate. I went from somewhere around $57 a month to $119 a month. Corporate had decided that everyone had to pay " market rate." I refuse to be gouged. I will go repeat this was the best deal I'd ever had, this a wonderful storage facility. The facilities are clean. The staff is excellent. Corporate is greedy. My storage locker is now empty. They lost out on a guaranteed $300 because they wanted some number that they hadn't earned.

Just rented out two storage units in Mini U Storage, very simple and smooth process. Extremely convenient and great service. Would definitely recommend.

Mini U Storage has an excellent staff, affordable rates, and quick service. No creepy multilevel echoey buildings. It’s an excellent choice for your storage needs.

Melissa, Isaac, and Michael are the best! We had an awesome experience working with all of the staff at this location over the past five years. We just closed out today. Very friendly, very helpful staff over here. They treat you like human beings and don’t belittle you. Again, Melissa, Isaac and Michael are awesome! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

Isaac helped me move in. Isaac rocks! He should be CEO!

Isaac at Mini U Storage was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the whole process. He answered all my questions clearly and made everything feel easy. The online move-in process was smooth and straightforward, and I really appreciated the great sale—50% off the first month was a huge bonus. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, willing to help when there are problems. Easy drive up storage.

Fast, friendly, and awesome!

This is my first time using a storage unit and Melissa made it such a easy experience. Her and her teammate are very professional and very courteous. Highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

Great customer service! Answered all my questions in detail and walked me through the process. Thanks!

Customer service is really amazing and the check-in process was very smooth and speedy! Would highly recommend, especially for GMU students as it is very nearby!

Mini U Storage kept my belongings safe and sound for five years! The team has always been very communicative, able to answer all questions and concerns, and I must add that the property and my unit were kept extremely clean and free from rodents. Thomas was very helpful to ensure a quick and easy checkout and another big THANK YOU to the gentleman with the wavy longish hair who welded my lock off when I brought the wrong key. 😀 It is also nice that they have a great security system to get in and out of the property, a bathroom on-site for the customers, and free truck rental when you move in to ease some of the stress. Thank you again and wishing you all continued success!

Great facility. Very nice folks. Always helpful and pleasant.

Just rented a unit today. The folks were friendly and helpful. They also were great at explaining options. So far very reasonable company to do business with. Only reason I'm not doing 5 stars is it's not climate controlled.

Had a wonderful experience this morning getting set up with our new storage unit! Quick, friendly, and great conversation!

The service and efficiency of this team is extraordinary. Highest reviews and huge thanks for making our move so much easier.

Dail and bath are awesome, they run the business very well 👌

Dale and Beth were super helpful in assisting me with getting set up for a new storage unit. Prices were good and location was convenient. Thanks again!

This was an amazing experience. They were friendly and offered so much information and details. I got a great space equal to one I was moving out of. I highly recommend this facility and their team!

I did rent a unit at Fairfax location Went there to check it out RGM is very helpful went twice to check and lock the unit They are very respectful and professional and property very clean.

Shout out to Jacob over at Mini U Storage, excellent service! This is the place to go because of him!

It was very easy to reserve a unit and have it shown to us before we signed any documents. My only complaint is there is no light inside the storage unit itself. However, it is cheaper than what Public Storage is asking for now with the same size unit.

Jacob was absolutely awesome! Hospitality, professionalism and customer service was extraordinary. We need more like him in our world.

omer was great helping me with the rental of the van … its good to see a friendly face the is willing to go above and beyond to help you out .. thank you omar for everything

went to mini u storage today and had a grey experience with Omar, very welcoming and gave us the option to look at unit and get a bigger one if needed, offered us discounts and after a stressful move out period he made us feel a lot more relaxed, the unit was easy to access and had all supplies and everything needed, definitely recommend mini u storage.

Excellent customer service! Facility very clean and neat

Nothing good like fast service and informed decision.. that was my exact, satisfied experience here. Thanks David.

Made a reservation online. David showed me the unit and made the rental paperwork administrative process quick and efficient. Great promos and perks for new customers. Highly recommend!

First day checking in and Jacob was amazing. Made the process easy and explained everything clearly. Price is great and was also excited to see a shelving unit included in the unit.

Helpful staff, good rate for the unit

Nice and safe! Highly recommend

Great storage, easy to move in, friendly people.

Easiest storage rental experience ever!

Clean property reasonably prices.

Matt and Jacob were most helpful with our move and move out. These units are well maintained and we appreciate the service over the last year that we had 2 and then 3 units. Thanks, Carl &Malinda

Jacob was super helpful! Great prices, nice and clean, and lots of extra services available.

Very professional and courteous staff. Got me everything I needed and answered all my questions. Highly recommended

Matt is so sweet and has speedy, efficient customer service. Have to thank him for making sure we can find exactly what we need for my items!

Excellent, friendly, and efficient service! Matt helped us get the perfect storage unit for our college student with a smile on his face the entire time. Very informative and professional. Thank you for everything!

Excellent service. Awesome and skilled service. Matt ur the Man!! Thanks for ur help.

This place has the best service. Matt is so helpful. He explained everything in detail and provided quick and easy service. Thanks again for all your help.

The Manager was very very helpful, I felt I was at the RIGHT PLACE for my busniess. Thank you !

My personal experience with Mini U Storage? I am a new customer and not familiar with padlocking my storage space door. After using it for the first time at noon, I immediately received an email telling me that the door had been improperly closed. That detail made a VERY good impression on me about the care of my goods. Thank you!

Matt was very helpful and informative with the renting processes for my storage unit 🙂 I recommend them to anyone looking to rent a storage unit in the area

This facility has to be the best in the area - convenient location for all of Fairfax county, always clean and in good repair, long hours including Sunday, and best of all is the staff that is always friendly and efficient. The small shop in the office has all the supplies needed for a move in case you need more boxes, a lock, tape, etc. They even have a van available for customer use.

Setting up my rental was super easy. Greg was great! He made the experience more enjoyable.

Great, convenient, helpful thanks! 10/10 review, Greg helped me!

Pretty good 👍🏾 👌

Had the opportunity to work with Si on setting up my storage unit agreement. He was extremely helpful and accommodating, was working with me even though I was all over the place...even went out of his way to get me some water.

Mini U was great. Very helpful in helping me decide which size to go with. The entire process was simple with their help. I absolutely recommend Mini U Storage. They’re great people.

Clean facilities and great customer service.

Outstanding prompt and customer friendly service provided by staff. It was a pleasure to do business with MiniUStorage and look forward to doing business now and in the future. Respectfully Gary and Susan Bliss.

Very polite and made the process easy. I just had to email my paperwork and boom free truck rental and a great price overall.

Amazing customer service! In from out of town and decided I needed a small unit last minute; booked online at midnight, called in the morning and talked to Janet, showed up two hours later, and now don’t have to worry about my “stuff!” Super easy transaction and clean property.

We were able to use the truck a little longer than what we supposed to have they were very nice about it they understand the stressful times people have when they move they was very understanding very efficient with the information and gave us a very nice deal on the storage

Jessica and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing! Excellent customer service skills from them all.

The staff was professional and knowledgeable They helped me choose the right sized unit price was awesome

My experience getting the right store was amazing Henry took the time to show me a few options for my needing space, very friendly and helpful. I can't ask for a better store place. 😉

Nice.

They really helped make my move feel much more smooth. Good value too. 🙂

Personalized service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I had a wonderful experience reserving my unit and working with management to find the right space for my parents' belongings. The managers were understanding and so very helpful! Highly recommend Mini U Storage Fairfax Station. Thank you!

Helped me get through turning my Penske Moving Truck in. Thank you!

We returned our Penske truck here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were prepared to take the truck back and got me out the door very quickly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I'm a first time storage user and both Mr. Justin and Mr. Matt were incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional. They walked me through the whole setup, showed me the locker, and provided access tips and everything for the facility...they even put my lock on for me. They directed me to corporate HQ for a few extra details I was curious about and I had definitive answers from live humans on the phone within 6 minutes (no annoying 'robots', digital menus, or endless 'please hold' muzak! Hooray!). Thank you, guys!

Great storage company with clean facilities. Very nice staff that was great to work with. I have other storage units in the area and this is by far the best storage unit around!!

Outstanding services!! excellent prices !!

I rented a storage unit (5 wide, 10 long, 11 feet tall) and it was free for the first month then after that it was a little over 40 bucks monthly which I thought was a great deal! No contract! It also came with a free moving truck for 24-hr rental, only had to pay $19 for a liability fee and refill gas. With the truck you also get a free lock for the storage unit. Only thing I wish was different was that the rooms are outside so I wasn't able to store my electronics/appliances there because the extreme cold or hot temperatures can damage these items. It would've been better if the storage was inside a building with air-conditioning/heater and ventilation. Also, the room is very spacious but it doesn't come with any lighting so when I go there at night, it's completely dark and I need to use a flashlight. Other than those 2 things, I was extremely satisfied with Mini U Storage. Their customer service was excellent and the prices are unbeatable! Highly recommend you check them out!

Amazing experience. This is the place where you find the nicest customer service representatives. Jacob was super nice and helpful, he made my day

The Customer service Representative was very professional and nice.... thanks for all your help you Rock!

I have an amazing experience here. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The free truck was an added convenience. Class act service, one of a kind, that is Mini U in Burke, VA.

Recently, I had a need for a storage facility. After checking out several places, I decided to go with Mini U Storage in Clara Barton Drive, Fairfax Station, VA. I can't speak highly enough about my experience (, which, by the way, is ongoing!). It was the ideal combination of expertise, experience, professionalism, and cordiality. The two men serving me complemented each other perfectly and worked together like a well-oiled machine. It was a hot day and, when I was about to leave, I was even offered a bottle of cold water! Mini U Storage offers clean, dry storage at a very competitive price. Could you ask for anything more?! Most highly recommended!

Rare to find great customer service these days, but Matt and Jacob nailed it. I highly recommend this place!

I consider customer service for a storage unit rental to he above average. The staff here were friendly. The free truck rental for moving in was a nice perk. I wasn't giving trouble for using my own home insurance as coverage either. Many of these companies seem to want to insist in using their insurance. The outdoor storage unit I was provided was clean and easily accessible. Yes, I would recommend this place.

The staff at Mini U storage of Fairfax are nothing short of amazing. They all go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taking care of. Renting a storage unit can be a long an frustrating process, as there are so many options and the paperwork can be confusing, but at Mini U storage the process is seamless, and most of the time there are two people there to assist, and make things go faster. They really are a one stop shop, as they offer the free truck rental upon move in, as well as boxes, tape, locks, and many other moving necessities. If you are looking for a storage facility look no further Mini U storage is the place to be. I started renting here a year ago, and recently recommended them to my sister and all dealings with them have been great. Matt and Jacob got us in and out and were thorough and efficient; and Henry along with the other manager, offered us bottled water as it was extremely hot, when we went to return the truck. Hands down, the facility is in a good location, very clean and well kept, and has excellent customer service from beginning to end. They almost always have promotions going on, and also offer a $25 referral program. Upon helping my sister move her things in Henry was amazing. As he continued to check on us and make sure we were okay. If there was something that he thought we could use he would offer it, making our lives so much easier as we were two young women moving in all these items by our self. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were taking care of. I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of a storage unit. Thanks Guys at Mini U Storage of Fairfax

My friend recommended this facility as she'd stored all her things here for a year, never checked on them and they were just as she'd left them upon her return. I went in last week to reserve a unit and was thoroughly impressed with the customer service I received. He was knowledgable, pleasant and happy to help me. I was also able to reserve their free moving truck with pretty open availability for use. Very pleased with my experience!

Very friendly and helpful staff!

Great service and they also rent Penske trucks at a reasonable rate.

When we moved here from Texas we had used a couple of Penske trucks and this was the location where we dropped them off after the move. While they were really busy during both of our visits, the staff were friendly and efficient. If you have a big truck, then it's best to stop in their driveway and ask where they want it as their parking lot was packed pretty tight.
